Summit on Sustainability

Join us on Nov. 14, 2017 for MORPC's signature environmental conference. The Summit on Sustainability will bring hundreds of community leaders together, at the Hilton Columbus Downtown, to explore and share sustainable ideas and solutions, and to celebrate individual and collaborative sustainability efforts with the Green Region Awards.

This year’s theme, Communities Taking Charge, will focus on sharing the best practices that can be applied by local communities, regions, and businesses to enhance the built environment in which we live. These examples will be brought to attendees in five main categories: 1) Policy, 2) Energy & Environment, 3) Local Foods, 4) Land-Use, and 5) Transportation.

Why attend the 2017 Summit on Sustainability?

  1. Get firsthand information on sustainable practices for government, business and the community with professional development opportunities.

  2. Network with over 500 other people from diverse backgrounds who share a common interest in environmental issues.

  3. The programming is top notch! The plenary sessions and breakout sessions feature food for thought and real-life solutions on how to create communities that are increasingly self-sustaining and environmental sound.
