During the fall, MORPC hosts a Home Weatherization Showcase so community leaders and public officials can observe the process of weatherizing a home. The showcase provides the opportunity to see MORPC’s free residential energy efficiency services in action. Stations are set-up throughout a home to demonstrate the insulation process and combustion analysis testing. Devices such as an infrared thermography camera and a blower door are also used to help determine the most cost-effective measures for each home.

For over 20 years, MORPC has provided energy saving programs and services for eligible families and seniors in Franklin County. These programs and services are free to income-eligible clients thanks to funding from the Ohio Development Services Agency, Columbia Gas of Ohio, and American Electric Power.
