Join the Conversation at the Summit on Sustainability!

September 19, 2016

The 2016 Summit on Sustainability is quickly approaching and tickets are selling fast.  Join the conversation and learn how we can create a more sustainable future.

Regional leaders will discuss sustainable ideas and solutions. This year’s theme, Feeding the Economy, will focus on building strong economies and communities using sustainable practices. In addition to  fantastic morning and lunch keynote speakers, excellent breakout sessions are scheduled throughout the day - covering energy, active transportation, water and air quality, materials management, insight2050, local food, and policy issues.

For example, in the morning, listen to panelists discuss policy solutions addressing emerging sustainability issues, or learn about the economic impacts of recycling and reducing waste..

Later in the afternoon, hear from innovative local leaders in the food industry who are committed to conserving energy while fostering the development of the local economy, or learn from trail experts on the development of key trails in the region.

The full program with detailed information about all breakout sessions is available online at  Thank you to Kegler Brown Hill + Ritter, SWACO, Easton Community Foundation, Columbia Gas of Ohio, Brown and Caldwell, Ohio EPA, Resource100 LTD, The Ohio State University and Murphy Epson/Engage for being our breakout session sponsors!

The Summit will be held on October 21st at the Hilton Downtown Columbus. Please contact Amanda McEldowney at 614.233.4112 with any questions regarding the Summit.
