2010 Census Results

From 2000 to 2010:

• Ohio grew by 1.6%
• The Midwest region grew by 3.9%
• The United States grew by 9.7%

From 1990 to 2000:

• Ohio grew by 4.7%
• The Midwest region grew by 7.9%
• The United States grew by 13.2%

Population Density and Congressional Apportionment:

• Ohio is the 12th most densely populated state.  In 2000 Ohio was 11th.
• Ohio will lose 2 seats in the next Congress.
