	Every other month MORPC invites the community to our downtown facility for a free Education Forum. These hour long presentations feature a panel of local speakers to provide information on topics relating to sustainability and the Central Ohio Green Pact. See the Green Calendar below for details, forums will occur in May, July, September, and November.
	A state-wide professional conference serving as a gathering place to gain support for the ongoing challenges experienced in going green, to learn from experts and to network with those who have similar interests.
	A public festival planned to help expand appreciation for the importance of waterways for human health and conservation of natural resources. The event highlights free boating, fishing and more.
	Every September, MORPC and several partners celebrate World Car Free Day in central Ohio by promoting biking, walking, carpooling and taking transit. Learn more at www.carfreedaycolumbus.org.
	Throughout the year, MORPC's expert staff inspect and repair homes to increase energy efficiency. The Weatherization Showcase gives media and elected officials the opportunity to visit a client's home to see how this important work is conseving energy while improving living conditions for low income families.
	A one day conference coordinated along side of area soil and water consevation districts to promote soil conservation and stormwater pollution prevention. The 2011 conference takes place on Feb. 17.
