Air Quality is important to the health and wellbeing of the students at your school.  The following are ways your school can reduce its own impact on air pollution. 

  • Encourage administrators to post the current air quality conditions on the school’s website so teachers, students and parents will know when air quality is unhealthy.  A free tool is available to help keep your students safe.  Students with asthma, for example, may need to stay inside and avoid strenuous activity on air quality alert days.  A free, easy to use tool is available at link
  • Limit school bus and parent car pick-up pollution with anti-idling policy:
