Housing and Community Services

MORPC is a US HUD-approved agency that provides housing counseling and education, housing rehabilitation, and community development services to individuals and families throughout central Ohio.


Homeownership

MORPC has operated free homeownership education and counseling programs for homebuyers for more than 15 years, offering free counseling for homebuyers, default and foreclosure counseling and financial literacy counseling.

Housing Rehab

Through funding from multiple agencies, MORPC assists low- and moderate-income families with homes repairs. Program eligibility requirements are based on total household income, ownership of the home, and area of residency. For more information, call 614-233-4171 or email lfrazier@morpc.org.

CHIP Programs

Funds are available to income eligible homeowners in need of housing repairs or first-time homebuyers wishing to purchase homes within the cities of Marysville and Ross County. For more information on CHIP Housing Programs contact Lil Frazier at 1-800-886-6772 or lfrazier@morpc.org.

Neighborhood Stabilization Program

The Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) is a program of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) that creates new opportunities for homeownership in communities most impacted by foreclosures.
