housing

The Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) is a program of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) that creates new opportunities for homeownership in communities most impacted by foreclosures. NSP makes federal funds available to local jurisdictions and their partners across the nation for the purchase and renovation of foreclosed or vacant homes. Once renovated, these homes are available to qualified homebuyers at affordable prices. NSP homes are available for purchase and are not exclusive to first-time homebuyers.

The Franklin County Board of Commissioners has sponsored six NSP homes in Prairie Township. To view these homes, click here. To view NSP Buyer Guidelines for these homes, click here.
