Columbus Metro Bike Users Map
The Columbus Metro Bike Map was created to help bicyclists determine which roads may be better suited for their level of riding in the Greater Franklin County area. The roads are color-coded for non-rush hour travel with green as “Easy”, yellow as “Moderate", and red as “Difficult”. The map is the result of a collaborative effort between a variety of partners, including MORPC, the City of Columbus, COTA, RideSolutions, and Trek Bicycle Stores. Additional partners are Bicycle One, YayBikes!, Pedal Instead, Consider Biking, Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, Experience Columbus, IDC Design, and Pressworks. Visit our

Regional Bikeways
This map shows locations of existing, expected, and recommended bicycle facilities in Delaware and Franklin counties, Bloom and Violet townships in Fairfield County, and Pataskala in Licking County. (This is
the official MORPC transportation planning area.) It is based on the current regional bikeway plan that was adopted by MORPC 2006.

2012
- 2035 Metropolitan Transportation Plan
The Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP) is the long
range transportation plan for central Ohio. The map
includes transportation projects anticipated to occur by
the year 2035 that will use federal transportation
funds. The plan was developed by MORPC. An updated plan
was adopted in May, 2012. Also, see the list of

2010 and 2035 Data by Traffic Analysis Zones
Base year (2010) and Forecast year (2035) data by
Traffic Analysis Zone (TAZ). This is the official land
use data used in MORPC’s 2012 Metropolitan
Transportation Plan. Among the variables, data include
population, households, labor force, median income, and
employment by TAZ.
