DEMOGRAPHICS              

Demographics are characteristics of populations - including age, race, gender, education level, income, and household characteristics. Most of the data on the Demographic Portal is derived from US Census reports pertaining to various geographies throughout central Ohio.

Reports include basic demographic documents from the 2000 Census for political places, zip codes and the MORPC planning area. Comparisons of 1990 and 2000 data are available, as well as tables comparing general demographic characteristics in central Ohio communities.

Maps include census geography for central Ohio counties and density maps of various demographic characteristics.

Population Estimates are prepared by MORPC for member governments on an annual basis. This tab also includes links to other population estimate sources.
