7 County Standardized Land Use Gridded – Current: This map shows current land uses of the central Ohio region by ¼ square mile grid. This grid unit is used by the MORPC land use model. The land uses is displayed using a land use typology that includes various residential densities, scales of retail, office, types of industrial uses, public uses and open space, such as parks and cemeteries.
7 County Standardized Land Use Gridded - Future: This map shows planned future land uses of the central Ohio region by ¼ square mile grid. The land uses are based on local land use plans or zoning classifications in the areas where no land use plan exist. The land uses is displayed using land use typology developed for the MORPC land use model.
Residential Building Permits: MORPC collects residential building permits from local permitting authorities throughout central Ohio . These are "new builds" only. The area of interest is the MORPC "data collection area" which includes the limits of the MORPC travel demand model.
Residential Subdivisions: MORPC collects major residential subdivision information from local subdivision authorities throughout central Ohio . The area of interest is the MORPC "data collection area" which includes the limits of the MORPC travel demand model.
