MORPC’s web-based traffic count database system is now available!

We are very excited to announce that MORPC’s web-based traffic count database system is now available at http://gis.midwesternconsulting.com/tcds/?loc=morpc. The development of this system is a multi-jurisdictional effort in modernizing traffic count data sharing in the central Ohio region. Franklin County, City of Columbus, Delaware County, the Licking County Area Transportation Study and Ohio DOT are currently the five major agencies that directly input traffic counts into the system. Other local governments and jurisdictions and private consultants across the central Ohio provide their traffic counts to this system through MORPC. The system allows traffic counting agencies to share data with the public instantaneously. Users can selectively retrieve traffic count data with specific criteria or by clicking on a location within the Google map.
