Franklin County Workshop MORPC will host a workshop on the application process to receive funding for Franklin County local public infrastructure projects through the Ohio Public Works Commission at 1:30 p.m. on June 24, 2009, at MORPC’s offices, 111 Liberty Street, Suite 100 in Columbus. Read more Clean Ohio Conservation Fund Program The citizens of Ohio originally voted in 2000 to approve the Clean Ohio Fund with a $400 million bond program. In 2008, the Clean Ohio Fund was overwhelmingly renewed for another $400 million in bond funds. For an overview of the Clean Ohio programs see http://clean.ohio.gov. The Ohio Public Works Commission (OPWC) announced the availability of $37.5 million in funding for the Clean Ohio Conservation Fund (COCF) program on April 27, 2009. The Clean Ohio Conservation Fund (COCF) is part of the Clean Ohio program, and can be used to acquire green space and for riparian corridor restoration. Local governments, park and joint recreation districts, conservancy districts, soil and water conservation districts, and non-profit organizations are all eligible to apply for these grant funds.
