The Central Ohio Planning & Zoning Workshop sponsored by the Central Ohio Section of the American Planning Association (APA) will take place Friday, May 17 at COSI.

Sessions are designed for local officials, members of planning commissions or boards of zoning appeals (BZA's), community development professionals, professional planners, attorneys, architects and other interested citizens.

MORPC staff will present the Complete Streets and Zoning Practices in Central Ohio workshops.

Cost of attendance ranges from $85 for non-APA members, $75 for APA members, $60 for planning commission and BZA members, and $35 for students. The fee includes lunch and parking. For details and to register, visit www.ohioplanning.org/2013CentralOhioP&Z.

Liberty Street will close to thru traffic between South Front and Short streets for the OARS Deep Sewer Tunnel project. Construction will begin this month and is expected to last around 160 days.

The MORPC offices and parking lot will remain open to the public via South Front Street to Liberty Street. Maps, directions and other information regarding the project will be posted as they become available at www.morpc.org, and on the MORPC Facebook Page, MORPC Twitter and MORPC Google+ Page.
