| MORPC Hosts October 6 Workshop for Communities: “Wake Up: Changing Trends in the Real Estate Market” | | 9.23.2011 | | How will central Ohio communities develop and re-develop for a growing senior population, while continuing to focus on attracting and retaining young people? According to the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission (MORPC), a community’s zoning and building regulations play an important part in the success and prosperity of our region. To share those tools and approaches for success, MORPC will host a free workshop - “Wake Up: Changing Trends in the Real Estate Market” on Thursday, October 6, 2011 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Upper Arlington Municipal Services Center, 3600 Tremont Road in Upper Arlington. The workshop will offer an opportunity for real estate professionals and zoning, building and elected officials to meet and discuss the challenges and benefits of creating neighborhoods where people want to live, work and play throughout their lifetime.
