The Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission (MORPC) is now registering exhibitors for the 4th International EcoSummit on Ecological Sustainability – Restoring the Planet’s Ecosystem Services. EcoSummit 2012 will take place Sunday, September 30, 2012 through Friday, October 5, 2012 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center in Columbus, Ohio, USA. This is the first time EcoSummit will be held in the United States. It was last held in Beijing, China. The goal of EcoSummit 2012 is to bring together the world's most respected academics, researchers, civic leaders, public policy officials, corporate CEOs, non-profits, and practitioners to discuss and explore innovative strategies and solutions that are socially, culturally and economically acceptable to create, manage, and restore our planet’s ecosystem services. Exhibitors in EcoSummit 2012 will transform the exhibition hall into a world of the newest in sustainable products, publications, innovations, services, and strategies with interactive displays, activities, and visualizations centered on ecological sustainability. The exhibition hall will accommodate more than 200 vendors, an event stage, and short films competition area, while approximately 2,000 delegates from all over the world are expected to be in attendance.
