The Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission’s (MORPC) annual State of the Region Luncheon will be held on Thursday, April 26, 2012 at the Hyatt Regency Ballroom at the Greater Columbus Convention Center, 400 North High Street, Downtown Columbus. Join us and over 1,000 of central Ohio’s top political, business and civic leaders and discover the significant progress and achievements we’ve made in making our region stand out in the global market. Jesse J. Tyson, keynote for this event and employed by ExxonMobil for more than 30 years, has extensive experience in the logistics, order-to-cash and marketing segments of the energy business. Tyson will provide an outlook for energy on a global basis; the role natural gas will play; a review of the supply and demand for energy and how population growth and lifestyle drives it. Tyson will address environmental impacts, technology and tradeoffs. In 2002, he was appointed Americas South Fuels Marketing Director and President of ExxonMobil Incorporated. In 2008, he was appointed to Global Aviation Direct, based in Brussels, Belgium responsible for the Global Aviation Business covering over 50 countries, over 500 locations and over 700 employees.
