The Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission (MORPC) has received the second highest Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) award in the state. As a result of this funding, households will have a greater opportunity to find housing or keep their current homes.

As a HUD approved counseling agency, MORPC provides housing counseling to clients that meet the program's eligibility requirements. Clients receive individual guidance and walk away with expert advice on responsible homeownership as well as much needed down payment assistance.

“Education is the best way to turn homebuyers into long-term successful homeowners,” states Kathy Werkmeister, MORPC Director of Housing and Community Services.
