The Mid-0hio Regional Planning Commission (MORPC) is seeking applications for the Job Access Reverse Commute (JARC) funds and New Freedom funds for fiscal years 2011-2012. A workshop has been scheduled on the eligibility and use of the funds for Monday, September 17, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at MORPC offices, 111 Liberty Street, Suite 100, Columbus. Total JARC funds availability is $1.12 million dollars and is available for capital, planning and operating expenses to improve access to transportation services to employment and employment-related activities for welfare recipients and eligible low-income individuals. Total New Freedom funds availability is $639,194 and is available for capital and operating expenses that will reduce transportation barriers and expand the transportation mobility options available to persons with disabilities seeking integration into the work force and full participation in society.
