Mid-America Trails and Greenways Conference Coming to Columbus

    Join hundreds of trail enthusiasts from across the Midwest at the Mid-America Trails and Greenways (MATAG) Conference. MORPC is hosting the MATAG Conference from May 13-16, 2018 at the Hilton Columbus Downtown.

    The MATAG Conference is an event that brings together trail and greenway interest groups from Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Missouri, Kentucky, and Ohio. This year’s theme is “Networking in America’s Heartland.”

    Registration is open! Make sure to register before the early bird registration ends on March 31, 2018.

    Ed McMahon, with the Urban Land Institute, will be the opening keynote speaker. Peter Kageyama, the author of For the Love of Cities: The Love Affair Between People and Their Places, will be the closing keynote speaker.

    The conference will also showcase some of Central Ohio’s best assets — its trails. Several mobile workshops and sessions will be offered at the conference, where attendees can view trail projects throughout the region. In addition, with 16 breakout sessions provided at the conference, there is something for everyone.
