Information-sharing among local governments is crucial to the success of any planning or development initiative. In addition to the informal contact made by local planners and developers at meetings and events, there are a number of formally-organized groups that meet on a regular basis to discuss issues and developments affecting a particular area.

MORPC staff facilitate several regional collaboration group meetings throughout the year. Representatives of special interest groups, and staff members from cities, villages, townships and counties throughout Central Ohio meet to discuss projects and issues relevant to their communities. Topics include planning, engineering, infrastructure, economic development, funding, and the natural environment.
