Air Quality Program
Our Air Quality Program strives to make Central Ohio’s air safer to breathe, and to protect public health.
Alternative Fuels/Electric Vehicles
A sustainable and resilient transportation system is not reliant on any one technology. We help our members remove the barriers to electric vehicle infrastructure and alternative fuels, while ensuring their communities are prepared for a future beyond the internal combustion engine.
Bicycle & Pedestrian
We provide planning, research, and resources to our members to create a transportation system that is safe and provides comfort and connectivity for bicyclists and pedestrians.
Central Ohio Rural Planning Organization
Our primary goal is the development of a regional, long-range transportation plan that reflects the transportation needs of these seven counties.
Clean Ohio Conservation Fund
Our projects preserve open spaces, sensitive ecological areas, and stream corridors.
Competitive Advantage Projects
Competitive Advantage Projects is an initiative we facilitate for Columbus 2020 to advance strategic infrastructure investments across the Columbus region.
Energy Studies and Technical Assistance
By understanding how energy flows from its source to where we live and work, how we use it, and what this process does to our environment, we can begin to develop ways to increase the beneficial effects it has on our economy and quality of life.
Enhanced Mobility
Enhanced mobility relates to transportation options for older adults and individuals with disabilities. It includes the Delaware and Franklin Counties Coordinated Plan (Coordinated Plan) and the Federal Transit Administration (FTA)’s Section 5310 Funding Program for the Columbus urbanized area.
Franklin County Energy Study
The Franklin County Energy Study provides a data-driven assessment of energy use and production across key sectors of the economy.
Gohio Commute
Our Gohio Commute program will help you rethink your ride and help you find a smarter way to commute to work.
Government Affairs
MORPC advocates on behalf of the region in the halls of the Ohio Statehouse and U.S. Capitol. We work closely with civic leaders and partner organizations to prioritize the aspirations of our local communities and communicate those aspirations to elected and appointed officials.
Home Energy Efficiency
We offer home energy efficiency and safety services at no cost to income-eligible residents to help keep them warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer, all while lowering energy bills. These programs are available all year to Franklin County residents.
