Transportation Review Advisory Council (TRAC)

The Transportation Review Advisory Council (TRAC) has accepted Major/New Project applications for the 2010 TRAC project selection round. Major/New Projects are those transportation projects that have a total project cost greater than $5 million and do one or more of the following:

  • increase mobility
  • provide connectivity
  • increase the accessibility of a region for economic development
  • increase the capacity of a transportation facility
  • reduce congestion

TRAC has requested our formal involvement in sorting out the priorities of the projects submitted from our MPO area. MORPC previously adopted and is now executing its policy to arrive at priorities for the five projects which have been submitted to the TRAC from our MPO area.

We are accepting public input and comments related to these projects. We anticipate recommending regional priorities for adoption during the September business meetings. These priorities will be transmitted to TRAC shortly thereafter and a presentation of them will be made to TRAC in the fall.
