Job Access Reverse Commute (JARC) and New Freedom Funding
- $1,129,040 in JARC funds is available for transportation services for welfare recipients and other qualifying low-income individuals.
- $639,194 in total New Freedom funds is available to reduce transportation barriers and expand the transportation mobility options available to persons with disabilities.
MORPC announced the availability of these funds through the JARC and New Freedom programs for projects serving the Columbus Urbanized Area on September 5, 2012. Proposed projects should relate back to a locally-developed, coordinated public transit-human services transportation plan.
