Non–motorized user request to cross the roadway. This may be an overt (e.g., push button) request from a pedestrian or the physical presence of a pedestrian or cyclist that can be detected by sensors or surveillance systems.

crossing permission  (Existing)  

Information provided to guide and warn pedestrians at crossings including crossing permission, crossing time remaining, and real–time warnings of safety threats.
