MORPC is Central Ohio’s regional council for more than 70 members comprised of counties, cities, villages, townships, and regional organizations. We take pride in bringing communities of all sizes and interests together to collaborate on best practices and plan for the future of our growing region.
MORPC is pleased to announce the second workshop for the 2022 Rural Forum Series. All member and nonmember communities rural, urban, and suburban are welcome to attend!
TOPIC: Trail Town Visioning
Experience the beauty of Mount Vernon nestled in the rolling hills of Knox County Ohio. Learn where trail enjoyment is at its finest and has soared to a top feature of this rural County. We will share the key attributes to help a community earn the designation of a trail town.

- 10-11:35 am Workshops
- Topics: Updates from Rails to Trails; Oh Dept of Natural Resources, Central Ohio Greenways and MORPC’s Regional Trail Planning.
- 11:45 – 1 pm Lunch & Regional Planning Updates
- 1-3 pm 5-mile Bike Tour led by guides. Guests must bring own bike. Tour includes a stop for ice cream.
