Central Ohio Region Local Community Planning Event

MORPC convenes local government reps for an overview of current community planning initiatives in Central Ohio to prepare for the future.

The Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission (MORPC) convenes local government professionals and their consultants for an overview on current community planning initiatives in Central Ohio to prepare for the future. As the region prepares for growth and the Intel investment, many local communities are posting Requests for Proposals (RFP’s) and acquiring consultant services for planning to start updates to comprehensive plans, transportation plans, and zoning.

Speakers will share their leaders’ vision for their communities, their local planning initiatives, and/or their approach to planning for growth. This session is a professional training and learning opportunity for engineers and planners to exchange ideas, learn best practices, and discuss additional planning needs across Central Ohio.

Tuesday July 19, 1-3 p.m. MORPC, Town Hall 111 Liberty St. Suite 100, Columbus, Ohio 43215.

Please limit attendance to one person per organization and register by 12:00 pm on July 18, 2022. Registration required.

This meeting is in-person only. Guests can park for free in the adjacent spaces next to MORPC with an “M.”
