- Builds upon previous studies to provide a comprehensive view of today’s housing market.
- Identifies five core housing issues being experienced across Central Ohio.
- Recommends investment priorities for the region’s public and not-for-profit housing resources, regulatory strategies, and opportunities for new programs to address core housing issues and achieve the greatest impact on housing supply and affordability in our region.
- Establishes regional metrics to monitor the performance of the housing market in meeting the needs of our residents.
HUD Pathways to Removing Obstacles to Housing (PRO Housing) Grant
MORPC submitted an application to the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Pathways to Removing Obstacles to Housing (PRO Housing) grant program on November 6th, 2023. This application requests $10 million to fund activities that will preserve and create affordable housing options in Central Ohio. The Regional Housing Strategy is an essential part of this application, and data for this tool will be updated if successful. Please use the link below to read MORPC application.
