Pre-Purchase Education
MORPC offers free classes for parties interested in purchasing a home.  Group sessions are offered in the following topics:  Credit/Budgeting; Home Inspection/Home Insurance; Realtor/Mortgage/ Predatory Lending; and Home Repair & Maintenance.  To receive certification, clients must complete all three sessions. Graduates of the Homeownership Program, who are income eligible, may be able to receive down payment assistance of up to three percent of a home purchase price plus out-of-pocket expenses for a maximum of $3,000.
