Sustainable Columbus, the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission (MORPC), Power A Clean Future Ohio (PCFO), IMPACT Community Action, and The Ohio State University, received $1 million through the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Climate Pollution Reduction Grant (CPRG). This planning grant will support climate action planning efforts across a 10-county central Ohio region, and build upon the successes of the current Columbus Climate Action Plan. The 10-county MSA includes Delaware, Fairfield, Franklin, Hocking, Licking, Madison, Morrow, Perry, Pickaway, & Union.
Your input is needed
Please fill out this short survey by September 15 to inform the planning team on how to best conduct meaningful and representative engagement.
The survey is one of many opportunities to get involved. Input from community members in any of the 10 counties will help to ensure that the planning process reflects the priorities and needs of our urban, rural, and suburban communities.
This planning process is important for identifying common goals and pollution reduction strategies and will position local governments in the region to be eligible for $4.6 billion in Phase II Implementation grant opportunities to put these plans into action.
