The Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission (MORPC) will host a luncheon before the May 9 Commission meeting for board members to meet Colonel Andrew Powers, the new Commander of our 121st Air Refueling Wing (ARW), Ohio Air National Guard, Rickenbacker Air National Guard Base. As the Commander, Colonel Powers is responsible for operations, training, and equipping of more than 1,300 personnel and 12 KC-135R aircraft as the Wing supports strategic deterrence and conventional air refueling, passenger and cargo transport, aeromedical evacuation, engineering, communications, security, sustainment, logistics, weather and other combat support missions around the globe.
