As part of a new four-part energy forum series, MORPC is bringing together Central Ohio’s top energy, regulatory, and economic development experts to help local governments and community leaders navigate the region’s evolving energy landscape.
Funding and Resource Opportunities to Build Your Energy Stack
This session will guide local leaders through the diverse funding tools and incentives available to accelerate energy planning, programs, and projects. Participants will learn how to leverage PACE financing for energy-efficient improvements, access federal support through the Inflation Reduction Act and Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, and explore grants from the Columbus Region Green Fund and Solar for All program targeting underserved populations. The session will also cover property tax incentives like Community Reinvestment Areas (CRAs) and Tax Increment Financing (TIF) to reduce development costs, along with Ohio’s Volume Cap program for securing below-market financing. This is a must-attend for communities looking to fund all types of energy solutions.
