Transportation Needs Assessment (FY17)
The Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission (MORPC) completed a transportation assessment for Columbus Public Health (CPH), an organization that operates the Women, Infant & Children’s (WIC) Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program for Franklin County. MORPC partnered with CPH to conduct the assessment following concerns expressed by WIC clients on transportation challenges in getting to clinics. The assessment identified transportation barriers, actions to address existing barriers, and public transportation trends and options that may affect future potential WIC clinic sites.
